DIMANCHE Healthcare Solutions began with a simple mission: to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. What started as a small, passionate effort has grown into a trusted agency where consumers and staff alike are encouraged to reach their full potential.
What began as a simple community service and volunteer program for college credit at Elsie Gaches Village—the only government institution in the Philippines dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of individuals with developmental disabilities—sparked a lifelong mission for our founder. That early exposure revealed the profound challenges faced by consumers when services were disrupted or inadequate.
After moving to the United States in the late 1990s and gaining professional experience across corporate, hospital, healthcare and service industries, our founders carried with them a deep commitment to make a lasting impact. Driven by the desire to create stability and meaningful opportunities for people with developmental disabilities, they made the decision to establish a solutions-driven organization dedicated to person-centered care and community integration. With the combined experience of healthcare expertise of our co-founder, together Dimanche was built out of a desire to live for others who are in need.
This vision evolved into today’s developmental disability consumer solutions provider, where care and compassion form the foundation. Over time, the organization expanded into healthcare, therapeutic services, general resources, and technology solutions—all focused on supporting adults with special needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Founded with little more than a shared commitment to make a difference, Dimanche carries a deeply personal story. Though the two founders come from different families, both of their late fathers shared the same first name—Domingo. Wanting to honor that connection, they chose Dimanche—the French translation of Domingo, meaning Sunday—as the agency’s name. In 2018, Dimanche opened its doors with a mission to support consumers through customized programs that foster independence, growth, and dignity. From the very first consumer, the agency became more than a service provider—it grew into a place where dreams could take shape, not only for those receiving care, but also for the families and dedicated team standing beside them.
Over the years, DIMANCHE has grown steadily, embracing innovation in care, fostering professional development among staff, and expanding opportunities for consumers to thrive. Our culture encourages staff to pursue their own goals while inspiring the people we support to explore new possibilities—learning skills, participating in community activities, and achieving milestones that once seemed out of reach.
