A consumer faced barriers in their daily life that limited both independence and opportunity. They struggled with technology, transportation, and school enrollment—key areas that would allow them to learn, travel, and connect more freely with their community. Recognizing this, our care coordinator provided hands-on training in using essential apps, guided the consumer through ride-sharing apps and city bus registration, and supported them in enrolling in school. These small but powerful steps gave the consumer more than just practical skills—they built confidence, mobility, and the freedom to pursue education. What once seemed intimidating became a pathway to self-reliance, and the consumer now enjoys greater independence and opportunities for growth.
